PROGRAMMER/ANALYST October, 2001 - November, 2001 Employer: TEK Systems, Nashville, Tennessee
Client: Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN Designed, developed and implemented an LDAP implementation for the thirty-plus-thousand constituents which make up Vanderbilt University. Included in this project was the configuration of an openLDAP database, including schema design, as well as some back end programming in Perl to allow for database manipulation and web search capability in a SASL and Kerberized environment. Environment includes Windows clients, Solaris servers.

PRESIDENT AND CEO December, 1999-August, 2001 Employer: Pitts Technical Resources, Inc., Lexington, Kentucky Sample Clients: University of Kentucky, Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Program, Bluegrass Regional Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board, Children's Review Program Founded, developed and managed a technical consulting firm developing complex client-server, web based, and applications solutions for small to medium sized businesses. Managed the workload and priorities of the programming staff, worked with marketing and sales on developing scope-of-work for projects, and designed and oversaw the implementation of corporate software. Coordinated strategy, comprehensive business plan, policies, and budget with the Board of Directors. Cross Platform Systems Administrator Responsible for network of Linux, Windows 98, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 ME Systems, including Web and mail services, DNS, Back-up and Recovery, and Security. Environment includes Windows and Linux. Lead Programmer Project and team management of a team of highly qualified programmers developing Business-to-Business Software for projects, and designing and programming internal software using HTML, Perl, Javascript, and mySQL on a Linux Server running Apache Web Server software.

SP IMPLEMENTATION TEAM LEAD March-September, 1999 Employer: ICC Corporation, Sacramento, California Client: Sutter Health,Sacramento, California Lead a team of 9 highly qualified individuals in various projects in support of the seventh largest health organization in the U.S. Responsible for the upkeep, management, and improvements to over $30M of equipment supporting Admissions, Labs, Radiology for over 30 Hospitals and 5000 doctors. Projects included: Systems Migration Migrated 32 SP Nodes and 8 SP Frames to Y2K certified level of AIX, including PSSP, HACMP, ADSM, and other ancillary software with 100% success rate on-budget and several months ahead of schedule. Change Management Installed, moved and/or deleted multiple SP Nodes from highly dynamic and complex Clustered systems (IBM RS/6000 SP frames utilizing AIX, PSSP and HACMP). Job Scheduling Managed a rotating team of nine system administrators in providing updates and patches to systems during short monthly outage windows is a true 7x24 hospital environment. Data Warehousing Member of several teams addressing issues such as footprint management, outage coordination, service contracts, and data warehouse access.

SENIOR CONSULTANT 1996-1999 Employer: Best Consulting, Kirkland, Washington Client: The Boeing Company, Everett & Bellevue, Washington SP Server Administration Performed diagnostics, performance monitoring and tuning, file system manipulation, cluster manipulation, loading of e-fixes and ptf's, documentation, problem determination and resolution, and other duties as needed to successfully manage in excess of a terabyte of data spanning two multi-framed SP's in a collaborative and collegial environment ensuring availability of data to over 12,000 engineers. Storage management issues were addressed including backup and recovery as well as disaster recovery with Veritas and ADSM. Platform Conversion Coordinated the AIX side of an 88 workstation conversion from HP Unix to IBM Unix. This included working with the team to convert and or migrate user data, recompiling software, updating user configurations, installation of additional server nodes and disk space. Web Focal Designed, managed and up kept a 14,000+ page dynamic web site internal to the client's network. Identified the need for a dynamic, time sensitive, and accurate tracking system for 3000 Unix workstations. Designed and developed a web based solution to meet this need. Issues included ensuring that the site met the client's standards with regard to look, feel, navigability, corporate data protection, and security. Other Duties For Client: Participate on AIX Change Board, Lead/co-lead several committees Duties for Best Consulting: Instructor and Course developer on Perl, Web, and Unix.
Performed Technical Interviews in Unix, Web Mastering, and Programming.

Consultant for various clients 1992-1996 Clients included IBM, Ashland Oil, and ISSC Customer Center Manager and System Administrator for IBM's regional marketing center. Set up training classes, seminars and conferences. Worked with PC's, RS/6000's, AS/400's, X-stations, and 3270 Terminals; Network Administrator (Ethernet and Token Ring).

Computer Lab Technician 1987-1992 Employer: Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky Assist Staff, Faculty, and Students in the use of IBM, Amiga, and AT&T equipment on a 3B2 Based Client/Server Starlan Network. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using Unix (AT&T), DOS, Windows 3.0, Word Perfect, SPSS, Maple, and DB2.

Manager 1985-1987 Employer: Grand Junction, Lexington, Kentucky Accounting, staff management, and day-to-day operations of a drive-thru only fast-food restaurant. Regularly managed 40+ staff with seasonal expansion to 60+.
